Veterans Day at the LightHouse

Take part in a stirring Veterans Day ceremony at the St. Augustine Lighthouse to honor those who have defended the Nation. The ceremony gets underway at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation of the flag by the 169th Color Guard Team. The featured speaker will be Captain Dan Hill, U.S. Army (ret.), the recipient of numerous decorations for gallantry including the Silver Star, five Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. In addition, the Lighthouse will honor Maj. Gus Nordstrum, U.S. Marine Corps (ret.) and Col. Howard McGillin Sr., U.S. Army (ret). Refreshments will be served.
