Birds, Botany and Breakfast Walk

Join the Friends of GTM Reserve and birding experts Linda and Jerry Harrison for a “Birds, Botany and Breakfast” nature walk. The walk will begin at 8 a.m. at the Guana River Dam Trailhead located off A1A at Guana River Road. Come walk along the GTM Reserve’s hiking trail and look for birds, plants, and other interesting wildlife. The walk will take about 2 hours, cover about 1 ½ miles and will be followed by coffee, orange juice and donuts. Bring binoculars if you have them. The cost is $10 per person for the guided walk and continental breakfast ($5 for Friends of GTMNERR members). Make reservations by calling the GTM Reserve at (904) 823-4500, space is limited.
