Latest webisode released for SeaWorld’s One Ocean show

Last week SeaWorld Orlando released the 5th installment in the Beneath the Surface series The Making of SeaWorld’s "One Ocean". The “One Ocean” show is now open at SeaWorld Orlando and features the famous killer whales that draw millions of visitors to SeaWorld each year.

This week’s vignette focuses on the creation of the set design for the new show. Learn more about how dozens of hand-crafted "sea of life" creatures were created to adorn the towering set, reflecting sunlight through their opaque designs. The colors cobalt blue, aquamarine and royal purple were selected to represent the ever-changing ocean, while the magenta, yellow and orange colors reflect the beauty of a sunrise. The focal point of the set is the 80-foot wide whale tail, which also had input from the SeaWorld trainers.

Beneath the Surface is a collection of webisodes that convey the heart and passion behind “One Ocean”. Previous webisodes include examples of whale behavior, the music and the inspiration for the show.
