Salagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo

Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother turned the neglected step-sister into a beautiful princess with these words. But now young girls don’t need a magic wand to achieve princess status. For every little girl who ever dreamed of trading her flip flops for glass slippers, there is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can transform any young maiden into a beautiful princess who’s ready to meet her Price Charming at the ball. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a salon owned by the Fairy Godmother and operated by Fairy Godmothers in Training to assure the perfect princess experience.

Magical transformations take place daily inside this unique salon. A future Princess can receive hairstyling, makeup, nail polish, costumes, and photos—all tailored to meet the individual dreams of each girl.

Princess packages vary to give everyone a choice for a memorable makeover and include:

Coach - Hair style and shimmering makeup
Crown - Hair style, shimmering makeup and nails
Castle - Hair style, shimmering makeup and nails, plus full Princess costume with accessories and photo package (one 6x8 and four 4x6 pictures)
Cool Dude - Hair style, colored gels and a Mickey stencil for the young prince

Of course, there is plenty of princess merchandise available if the package doesn’t have everything the little Princess wants. Sorry, Prince Charming is not included.

If you prefer a headset over a crown, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can change girls 8-14 into Hannah Montana look-alikes. This special experience includes a wig, T-shirt, makeup, headset, backstage pass, makeup kit, guitar purse, and commemorative photo. And, there’s the Adventure Room with all the gear and outfits for the little guys who dream of being a true Disney hero.

Go prepared. All princess wannabes must be at least 3 years of age. If heading off for your fairytale makeover, remember hair must be freshly cleaned and brushed out (no tangles) and must be free of all styling aids and products. Fingernails must be clean and free of all nail polish and decals. Take your own brush or comb for the Fairy Godmother to use.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques are located in the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney and inside Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom.

Advance booking is strongly recommended. Call 407-WDW-STYLE (939-7895) for more information or to book your princess package today.

A Treat fit for a Princess
After receiving a royal makeover, what could be more appropriate than My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party offered in the Garden View Lounge of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa?

Dressed in their best princess attire, little girls get the royal treatment with tea for two, deliciously decorated princess cakes, and a personal meet-and-greet with Princess Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty."
Princesses aged 3-11 also receive a My Disney Girl doll dressed in a matching Princess Aurora gown, plus accessories. Special princesses will also take home their own ribbon tiara, silver princess link bracelet, a fresh rose, a special scrapbook set, and a Best Friend certificate. The tea party is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon most days. The schedule varies, so call 407-WDW-DINE for dates and reservations.
Opportunities abound for a chance to meet with royalty. Breakfast and/or dinner with a princess can be found in many places throughout Walt Disney World. For information, call 407-824-4321. The parks also provide opportunities for such encounters with character meet and greets. Whether a girl wants to be a princess or meet one, she will find what she wants at Walt Disney World. Remember what Cinderella said, “A dream is a wish your heart makes.”
