Joe's Crab Shack

Joe's Crab Shack restaurants have a distinctive look that patrons will notice before they even enter the building--parents will focus on the brightly colored sign urging prospective customers to "Eat at Joe's," while kids will zero in on the colorful outdoor playground.

Joe's Crab Shack is a national chain with Orlando area locations on Apopka-Vineland Road near the Walt Disney World resort, on South Semoran Blvd. Near Orlando International Airport, and another location north of Orlando in Sanford, FL.

As one might guess, this family-friendly restaurant specializes in seafood, with a tin bucket full of crab legs served up a choice of seasonings, including garlic butter and Cajun spice. Customers who order the bucket of crab are also invited to wear a plastic bib as they crack their crab claws making their way through the meal.

Best of all, kids who are old enough to enjoy the full sized playground can romp around while their meal is being prepared, giving Mom and Dad a little bit of relative peace and quiet before dinner is served.
