Typhoon Lagoon vs Blizzard Beach

This debate is not as intense as Coke vs Pepsi, but it is interesting. We recently spent a day at Typhoon Lagoon and had a great time. The weather gods were out of town and we were fortunate not to have the daily Florida afternoon thunderstorm. The lines were very short, but so were the rides. The biggest and most enjoyable event was the TIDAL WAVE. It may not be enough to turn over the Poseidon, but it is strong enough to move a crowd of people. It was great. The lazy river was crowded but moved along nicely. What did I finally decide? Well, it is a stalemate. It depends on your moods: easy going, slo-mo mood: Typhoon Lagoon; energized, thrill-seeking: Blizzard Beach. At least, parking is still FREE AT BOTH PARKS!! (P.S. This blogger is still boycotting Universal Studios for charging $11 for parking just to go to the movies).
