British Garrison Weekend at The Castillo De San Marcos

Saturday and Sunday: September 30 – October 1
Experience what the Castillo de San Marcos was like during the British military occupation of 1763-1784. Re-enactors and rangers will be dressed as British colonial soldiers as they provide historic weapon demonstrations, talks and displays. The Garrison will have an encampment at the Colonial Spanish Quarter on Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the encampment is free. The Castillo de San Marcos is open 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Admission is $6 adults, children 15 and under free. The Castillo de San Marcos is located on Avenida Menendez along St. Augustine’s Bayfront.
