Craft Super Show coming to Orange County Convention Center

Enjoy a summertime craft fair in air conditioned comfort, and learn a thing or two about making your own crafts at the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Craft Super Show, which is coming to Orlando on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1 at the Orange County Convention Center. The event is open to the public, and offers a variety of ideas and materials for amateur and professional crafters, as well as opportunities to purchase handmade crafts.

In addition to vendor booths, a kids Zone crafting area and seminars for crafters of all skill levels, there will be several presentations from celebrities in the crafting world. Mary Engelbreit, who has had more than 150 book titles published and has a range of licensed products that stretches from cards and calendars to dinnerware and fabric, will make a special appearance at the CHA Craft Super Show on August 1 at 11:00 am with a book signing scheduled for 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

The CHA Craft Super Show hours are July 31: 10am-6pm and August 1: 9am-5pm. Ticket prices are $14 for a two-day pass and $10 for a one-day pass. There is free admission for children younger than 10 years of age. For more information, visit the event’s Web site at Craftsupershow.com.
