Gatorland summer specials for Florida residents

Now through July 31, Gatorland is having a Summer Florida Resident Special, with an $8.00 discount off adult admissions with proof of residency. With this offer, adult tickets are $14.99 and a child’s ticket (ages 3 – 12) is $9.99 per person.

Florida residents will also be allowed to apply the cost of their admission towards the purchase of an annual pass with extended benefits that include 30% admission discounts for accompanying guests, 50% off the Adventure Hour, 20% off Rookie Wrestling Experience & in-park photography stations, 20% off Gift Shop purchases and 10% off food & beverages within the park.

Long before there was Walt Disney World, Gatorland opened as a roadside attraction in 1949. Over the years the park has been renovated with new exhibits added, without losing any of the Old Florida charm that has attracted visitors for generations. Gator Gully Splash Park is a great way for kids to beat the heat (so have them bring a swimsuit) and Gatorland is currently featuring a rare white alligator collection, on display for a limited engagement, featuring four of the world’s largest white leucistic alligators known to roam the planet. Ivory in color, the large reptiles are each ten to eleven plus feet in length, weigh over 800 pounds and have reflective blue eyes.

Other attractions at Gatorland include gator wrestling and feedings, a petting zoo, and educational wildlife programs. There are plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with Florida’s wild side at Gatorland for more information visit http://www.gatorland.com/.
