Char Dham Pilgrimage In North India

India is known for its oldest religious culture. The country is known for its mysterious saints and their practices in hidden Himalayan caves. It’s also famous for Hinduism and its pilgrimage. And when we look at the ancient time then we find a long history of Hindu’s and their faith and devotion towards god and goddess. The famous Hindu pilgrimage [ places] in India are Haridwar, Yamunotri, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Rudraprayag, Guptkashi, Gaurikund, Kedarnath, Joshimath, Badrinath, Devprayag, Rishikesh etc.

There are some famous and religious pilgrimages in north India. From India or from the world people visit these pilgrimages to seek peace and salvation. These pilgrimages are known for their buildings, art and culture. Saint, spiritual gurus and other religious guru’s can be seen at these places. These are called Dhams in Hinduism. These are following -:

Ek Dham Yatra- It is the beginning tour of Char Dham. And it is also called the door of moksha [salvation] in Hinduism. It is about four day’s tour. It covers many religious places like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Sri Badrinath, Pipalkoti etc. these all pilgrimage are very oldest and religious.

Do Dham Yatra- This tour is for two oldest Hindu religious pilgrimages Sri Gangotri Dham and Sri Yamunotri Dham. Gangotri is known for its long religious history. Today it is called Ganga River which was brought by king Bhagirath. The Ganaga starts its flow from Gangotri whereas Yamuna starts from Yamunotri. Both pilgrimages are located in Uttarakhand.

Char Dham Yatra- It can be called CharDham tour. In Hindu mythology It is believed that these Dham’s[pilgrimage] tour can wash human’s faults and sins. Therefore millions of pilgrim visit at these places across the world and get peace and inner satisfaction. This tour may be for 12 days and 13 nights. It includes many more religious pilgrimages some are these -Haridwar, Mussoorie, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, Gopeshwar, Srinagar, Badrinath, Rishikesh, Devprayag, Aarti Darshan etc.

All above pilgrimages are the way of getting peace and inner satisfaction for humankind. Many people tour to these pilgrimages. There are many ways to visit at these spiritual places. We can visit at there by train, by bus or by air as well. By bus it’s good but by train it may be somewhat hectic as well lengthy. The easiest and luxurious way to visit these places can be called by air. And it is known Char Dham Helicopter tour.

It takes 8 to 10 days. We can visit all Dhams through this tour. All Dhams can be toured whereas you can see the pilgrimage from the sky.
