The crowds are a bit lighter at the Orlando attractions during this time of year, although there are still plenty of locals and tourists on hand to enjoy Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Florida, which celebrates 15 years of concerts and New Orleans style food and parades February 6 through April 17, 2010.
If the temperatures do get warm enough for visitors to enjoy one of Orlando’s four water parks, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is open for business while Blizzard Beach is under refurbishment (the Disney water parks take turns closing down for refurbishment during the winter months). Aquatica will resume daily park hours by February 12, and Wet n Wild has heated pools during cooler weather.
And even when the temperatures dip below the 70s, there is sure to be plenty of Florida sunshine, and not a snowplow in sight.
