Florida resident specials at Gatorland

Gatorland is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and Florida residents get the gift of $9.99 admission from now until February 28, 2010. These $9.99 rates apply to adult and child Florida residents and all seniors ages 55 and up can visit Gatorland at the $9.99 rate as well.

Long before Walt Disney World brought visitors to Orlando, Gatorland was a roadside attraction featuring gator wrestling, reptile feeding and other natural exhibits. Today, out-of-town visitors and local residents can enjoy an Old Florida attraction with plenty of modern conveniences, including the Gator Gully Splash water playground for kids when the temperatures start rising. Gatorland is more than just gators; tropical birds, wild waterfowl, snakes and a petting zoo are all part of a day at Gatorland.

To take advantage of the Florida resident special, Proof of residency is required for each adult; seniors must show ID to prove age. All rates are plus tax. Florida residents will also be allowed to apply the cost of their admission towards the purchase of an annual pass with extended benefits that include 30% admission discounts for accompanying guests, 50% off the Adventure Hour, 20% off Rookie Wrestling Experience & in-park photography stations, 20% off Gift Shop purchases and 10% off food & beverages within the park.
