Second Seminole War At Castillo de San Marcos

Saturday and Sunday: October 14 & 15

Come learn about Florida’s early frontier days when reenactors and rangers at the Castillo de San Marcos present life in Florida during the Second Seminole War of 1835 -1842. Both American and Native American viewpoints will be presented through demonstrations and displays. In addition, there will be an encampment at the Colonial Spanish Quarter. The Castillo de San Marcos is located on Avenida Menendez along St. Augustine’s Bayfront and is open 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Admission is $6 adults, children 15 and under are free.
