Frightful Fun at the Haunted Mansion
TOIL & TROUBLE: Cruella De Vil the villain who coveted coats in Disney's "One Hundred and One Dalmatians," and The Wicked Queen (right) the jealous temptress from Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," conjure some frightful fun in front of The Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Just in time for Halloween 2007, the classic Walt Disney World attraction has been refurbished with new show scenes, enhanced sound and new visual effects. Some fun facts about Cruella and The Queen: both are on the American Film Institute's (AFI) list of "Top 100 Heroes and Villains" of All-Time (Cruella comes in at #39 and the Queen is ranked #10) -- and, Cruella placed #14 on the 2005 "Forbes Fictional 15" list -- the magazine's annual, lighthearted rankings of fictional characters' financial net worth -- with a "Forbes"-estimated fortune of $1 billion.

BEC is one of the nation’s most prominent theme park operators, with 26,000 employees, $1.25 billion in revenue and operations in five states.
Also announced today were several shifts among the company’s top managers. BEC Chairman of the Board and President Keith M. Kasen will assume the newly created role of BEC Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Kasen will remain in St. Louis and oversee the company’s expansion initiatives.
Promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer was SeaWorld Orlando General Manager Jim Atchison. Atchison will lead the company’s domestic operations, which include SeaWorld parks in Orlando, San Diego and San Antonio; Busch Gardens parks in Tampa, Fla. and Williamsburg, Va.; Discovery Cove in Orlando; Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pa.; and three water parks: Adventure Island in Tampa, Water Country USA in Williamsburg and Aquatica, SeaWorld’s water park, which is scheduled to open in Orlando in spring 2008.
Atchison’s replacement at SeaWorld Orlando will be announced within the next week.
“Moving our headquarters allows us to exploit the considerable opportunities and synergies offered by Central Florida, one of the world’s premier family travel destinations,” Atchison said. “Basing our operations in Orlando will make BEC more efficient and allow us to deliver greater experiences to our guests and greater value to Anheuser-Busch shareholders.”

Orlando Florida
Since Walt Disney World opened in 1971, theme parks have been the main attraction in Orlando, Florida. If you haven’t been to Orlando since the early days of Disney, it’s a whole new world now. The Walt Disney World Resort encompasses four different theme parks—Magic Kingdom, with its iconic Cinderella Castle; EPCOT; Disney-MGM Studios; and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Nearby Downtown Disney offers Cirque du Soleil performances, concerts, movies, indoor gaming, nightclubs and theme restaurants. And if that isn’t enough, there are two water parks and a wide variety of hotels and resorts on Disney property.

How do the entitlements work on the Disney’s Magic Your Way Tickets?

What is Disney’s Fastpass Service; how does it work and what is the cost?
Here’s how it works:
The Guest visits any attraction offering Disney’s Fastpass Service. Here, the guest has the options of waiting in the regular standby line or choosing Disney’s Fastpass Service.
If the Disney’s Fastpass Service option is chosen, a guest inserts his or her theme park ticket into the FASTPASS machine. Out comes the Disney’s Fastpass Service Ticket denoting when to return to the attraction. Holders of Disney’s Fastpass Service Tickets are given a one-hour window for their return—for example, 10:05 – 11:05 a.m. That means the guest cannot enter the attraction using Disney’s Fastpass Service before 10:05 but is free to return at any time during the designated one-hour window.
Upon returning at the designated time, the guest heads straight for the Disney’s Fastpass Service entrance and proceeds directly to the attraction pre-show or boarding area with little or no wait.
Guests are able to get several Disney’s Fastpass Service Tickets during a day in the Disney Theme Parks. However, they cannot immediately obtain multiple Disney’s Fastpass Service Tickets. How often can they get one? While the answer varies, it is printed on the guest’s current Disney’s Fastpass Service Ticket. (Usually 2-Hrs.)
Disney’s Fastpass Service (Short answer from information Bulletin)
To use Disney’s Fastpass Service, guests insert their park ticket into the Disney’s Fastpass Service turnstile and get a Disney’s Fastpass Service ticket that provides a window of time during which they can return to experience the attraction. When they return during a specific time period, the guests enter the Disney’s Fastpass Service Return queue and go directly to the attraction pre-show or boarding area with little or no further wait. Guests can use Disney’s Fastpass Service service at select attractions at all four Disney Theme Parks. There is no additional charge to use the Disney’s Fastpass Service. Disney’s Fastpass Service attractions, dates, and times offered are subject to change without notice.

A Land Remembered at Rosen Shingle Creek
A legendary Orlando steakhouse named after Patrick Smith's rich novel featuring Florida's historical moments and landscapes. Serving a variety of cuisine and accompanying wine list as succulent and filling as its namesake. Proudly serving Harris Ranch all Natural Prime Black Angus Beef, as well as menu items catering to all tastes. Located in the Golf Clubhouse. Open nightly for dinner. We tried the Angel City Oysters, Ahi Tuna, Lobster Bisque, Pine Island Greens, Bone-In Ribeye Steak and Lamb and our wine selection was Osborne Senorio Del Cid from Spain. Our overall experience was great, we were greeted by happy smiles and top service was provided by server Donald. This restaurant is a must on your list to try, it is now on OE's favorite list.
