Winter Park Scenic Boat Tours

The Winter Park Scenic Boat Tours enable visitors to see this historic Florida town just a few minutes north of downtown Orlando the way that some of the town's most prominent residents have seen it, with an unobstructed lakeside view.

Parking for the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tours is at the east end of Morse Avenue, just off of Interlachen Ave. Tours in the 18 passenger pontoon boats take place every hour on the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Daily except for Christmas.

The open air boat tour begins in Lake Osceola and takes riders through the canals that connect Lake Osceola with Lake Virginia and Lake Maitland. Rollins College is on the shores of Lake Virginia, while Lake Osceola and Lake Maitland are the location of stately mansions built by northern industrialists in the early 20th century, such as the founders of Walgreens and the 3M Corporation.

Other tour highlights include a view of the Kraft Azalea Gardens, the Albin Polasek Museum and Gardens, plus the natural flora and fauna of Central Florida. Tickets are $10 per adult and $5 for children ages 2 - 11. Children under 2 are free, and all children ages 6 and under must wear a life jacket, which are available at the dock.
