SeaWorld AfterDark a Summertime Spectacular

Summertime means more daylight hours, but it also means that there is more to enjoy at SeaWorld Orlando after the sun goes down. Now until September 1, SeaWorld Orlando presents SeaWorld AfterDark, a nighttime extravaganza featuring special shows, fireworks displays, and dining experiences that you won’t find during the peak heat of the day.

Shamu Rocks, which premiered last year, features the performances of Shamu the killer whale and friends with a rock ’n’ roll edge. Bayside Ski Jam in the Bayside Stadium is an all-new, nighttime action-packed ski show featuring water skiers and wakeboarders. DJs throughout the park add even more fun to the rockin' atmosphere, and the evening is capped off with Mistify—SeaWorld’s own light, sound and fireworks show.

There are also numerous dining experiences at SeaWorld AfterDark that enable visitors to enjoy great food and entertainment while they are waiting for Mistify’s Grand Finale. Purchasing the Rockin’ Dinner Deal gives guests the chance to enjoy all they care to eat around the park’s participating restaurants. The Seafire Inn magically transforms into a Polynesian paradise as it hosts the Makahiki Luau, a popular dinner theater performance that combines a bountiful island meal with authentic Pacific Island dancing. And the Shamu Rocks dinner buffet starts off with reserved poolside seating in the outdoor dining pavilion and finishes off with reserved seating for the Shamu Rocks performance.
