Jim Corbett National Park is the first wildlife reserve and virgin national park of India spread over the land of 500 sq km in the foot hills of Himalayas in Uttarakhand India. This park was established in the year 1936 is the oldest national park of India and was named as Hailey’s national park now a day famous as Jim Corbett National Park. Corbett National Park is well known for its assorted wildlife and unique flora and fauna. It is one of the nine tiger reserves in India which were launched in 1973.
The wildlife animals found in Corbett national park comprises of tiger, elephant, hedgehog, sambar, nilgai, gharial, Muntjac, Indian Pangolin, chital, wild boar, common musk shrew, king cobra, flying fox and more than 600 varied species of birds which has been attracting tourists from all over the world.
The major highlight of Jim Corbett national park is the elephant safari which takes you to see the wildlife on elephant back into the gigantic grasslands of Corbett National Park and get closer to the wildlife. Elephant Safari is the best Jungle Safari in Corbett .
