Japan is a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. When in Japan, one should try to follow their lifestyle. They are the people who have become one of the major economic powers in the world and have still managed to keep their traditional roots intact. Japan is a place which shows one that anything can be achieved with simplicity. They are giants in terms of technological developments and are conquering the world.
There are some things that one can only witness in Japan, or at least get the best experience of in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The most nutritious breakfast in the world
One thing that Japan gives you that no one can match is the nutritious breakfast. The breakfast in Japan is served with tea and is comprised of miso soup, fermented soy beans, dried seaweeds and grilled fish with omelets. When you learn the contents of these ingredients you will know that they contain everything you need to kick start your day.

Take a ride of the Bullet Train
This is an experience you can’t get anywhere. It is like a roller coaster ride, except that it is much safer and much more comfortable. The train travelling at 186mph, has spotless floors and cozy seats with ample leg space. Another amazing feature of this train is that it never gets late, even by a second.

Sleep on the wooden floor
A traditional Japanese custom is to sleep on the floor. It is said to keep your body straight and keep you away from back aches. Don’t worry sleeping on the floor doesn’t exactly mean sleeping on the floor, you lie on tatami mats or futons.

Endless Shopping
No matter which Japanese city you are in, you will find endless shopping options. You can find a wide variety of clothing, from the latest fashion in the world to traditional Japanese items. You can also find the latest electronic items at fairly cheaper rates than in most parts of the world.

Spend a day in a “Love Hotel”
Some hotels are called “love hotel” due to the way the rooms are designed and decorated. These rooms are made for couples, with a romantic atmosphere for them to blossom in and fulfill their emotions. There are approximately 25,000 love hotels in the country.

Witness a Sumo Match
This is the only place you can watch a real sumo match. Feel the electricity of the atmosphere in the sumo arena. People often think of sumo as a crazy sport in which a bunch of fat guys push and pull each other around. However this is not true, these remarks come from people who don’t know what these sports are about.

For people who love adventure, you can’t afford to miss this. Eventhough saying that you are going to climb a 12,000 ft mountain sounds crazy, but it can be done if you have the spirit and the guts to all the way. Those people who manage to reach the top describe the view as truly heavenly.

I know it sounds crazy, but as this is something you can only do in Japan, you should go for it. There are public showers placed in hot springs where you have to take a bath (using the soap and shampoo) before entering the pool.

Get a Birdseye view of Tokyo
A sight worth seeing, only available from the 52nd floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo. You can see the entire city from the New York bar at this hotel. The view which it gives at night is incomparable and indescribable; one can only say you will be positively lost with the view.

Eat off a Conveyor Belt
Another experience you cannot find anywhere else in the world. Grab your food while it passes in front of you. A sushi train moves in front of you slowly and you pick whatever you like.
