Florida Resident Distress Rates at Rosen hotels for hurricane season

With hurricane season in full swing, travelers need to have contingency plans in place for Mother Nature. That is why Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando has announced Florida Resident Distress Rates for the 2011 season. Rosen’s leisure properties are all opening their doors to Florida residents with special rates for hurricane evacuees and others negatively affected by Florida weather conditions.

The Atlantic hurricane season lasts from June 1 through November 30, although the peak activity occurs in August and September. With that in mind, here are the following Rosen properties that are offering rates of $49.99 per night (and an additional daily fee of $10 for pets—check with the hotel for any restrictions):

Quality Inn International, 7600 International Dr. Orlando

Rosen Inn closest to Universal, 6327 International Dr., Orlando

Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando, 9000 International Dr., Orlando

Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista, 8442 Palm Parkway, Lake Buena Vista.

Guests booking the Florida Distress Rate at one of these hotels may also add $10/night to receive two adult breakfast buffets daily. This additional rate includes the Kids Eat Free Program, where children 9 years and younger eat free when accompanied by an adult purchasing the buffet. The breakfast package must be confirmed at time of booking.
