Firkin and Kegler

The Firkin and Kegler Family Entertainment Center is tucked away behind the Waterford Lakes shopping, dining and entertainment center on the east side of Orlando, just a few miles south of the University of Central Florida campus. Although Firkin and Kegler does have its own restaurant and pub, the real attraction here is the electronic bowling alley, arcade, and golf simulations.

The bowling alleys are state of the art, plenty of HD flat screens around to show the latest sports games. In keeping with the British pub atmosphere, there is a wide selection of domestic and imported bottles and draft beer, as well as wine and cocktails. The arcade uses plastic cards that can have a certain dollar amount programmed onto them and are swiped through a special electronic reading device before the beginning of each game. Any points (which can be redeemed for prizes) are also tabulated on the card, so there are no coins, tokens, or tickets required at Firkin and Kegler.

For the adult crowd, Firkin and Kegler has an upstairs dance floor, and there are private party rooms to accommodate birthdays, corporate events and other special occasions. Best of all, Firkin and Kegler’s location in Waterford Lakes ensures that guests can go shopping or even catch a movie as they round out a full day of entertainment for their family.
