YMCA on International Drive

Compared to the YMCA buildings in some of the more urbanized northern cities, the YMCA facilities in the Orlando area are ultra-modern fitness centers geared towards families. The YMCA on International Drive is an ideal location to swim or workout for out-of-town visitors who already have a YMCA membership in another part of the U.S., and are interested in doing a few laps instead of splashing around in the hotel pool.

The YMCA Aquatic Center (previously known as the Justus Aquatic Center) originally opened in 1985 as an aquatic, fitness and hotel complex, with the largest indoor competitive swimming facility in the southeast. The facility became part of the Central Florida YMCA in 1992 and is the location of a number of local and national swim meets.

The YMCA Aquatic Center is stop # 18 (south of Sand Lake Road on International Drive) on the I-Ride Trolley., next to the Ramada Convention Center I-Drive. Guests at this Ramada can receive a pass from the hotel to use the YMCA Aquatic Center facilities.
